Ending the year strong with Cru at Purdue!

My team and I put together one last virtual weekly meeting where our seniors got to share some of what God did in their lives through Cru at Purdue. We had 75 students join in!

In Cru we have a vision for seeing every student sent as an equipped laborer for Christ no matter where the Lord takes them. Marisa is one of those sent ones! It has been a pleasure working with her for the past two years. She graduated from Purdue this semester and missed all the senior traditions. But she lives with an eternal perspective in the midst of the loss and is trusting God for her next steps. She has been able to have multiple spiritual conversations with her sister because she is home with her family. She is using some of the tools she learned in Cru to do that!   

Online traffic has increased in recent months and God is using that for his glory! Everystudent.com is an excellent Cru resource for those with questions about the Christian faith. This is a picture of a wall in our Cru headquarters in Orlando, FL. Different colored lights illuminate on a strip whenever someone clicks “I just asked Jesus into my life”. What an amazing way to see God working all around the world in “real time”.

UPDATE! “C” who committed her life to Christ a year ago but had been meeting with Mormon missionaries decided Mormonism did not coincide with her understanding of the Bible. Praise God that she stayed connected to her Cru community of girls and Bible study throughout this journey! She even committed to going on a spring break mission trip before they were canceled. Pray that she would continue to be involved in solid Biblical community and grow as she walks with Jesus. God heard your prayers and continues to do amazing things!!!
