At The Movies Returns!
Just in time for our 2024 summer series, we are excited to explore timeless lessons for life from some timely films you helped us select. Since the Summer Olympics are underway this year, we asked via social media some time ago what some of your favorite athletic or sports story movies are. The stories before us involve bobsledding, F1 racing (the top requested!), boxing, rowing, and basketball talent scouting.
This is a fun series and a great and easy way to invite others to church! So even if you’re thinking, “I’m not really into sports,” you may be surprised by the way the life-changing truth of the gospel is seen in the stories we’ll be unpacking together, not to mention the takeaway values of vision, focus, character, teamwork, determination, and more!
