Merry Christmas from Brazil!

(I mistakenly thought I hit “publish” on 12/22/22 to post this message but, only today, realized I didn’t! arghhhh…..better late than never, right?) The AMO team thanks you (every individual, brother, sister, family and church) for making a daily personal sacrifice so that we can do the Work of the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ in the slums of Brazil. You have brought daily joy to us as a team seeing so many lives changed by the Good News, The lost sheep need to hear the Shepard’s true voice coming to rescue them in their darkest moments. See and believe in what it took for HIM to rescue them. Feel the incredible strength of His Shoulders carrying them to eternal safety. Experience His joy along with others in His sheepfold where they will be taken care of and nurtured.  Christ, living in us, is doing the work of our Father in the slums of Brazil. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20 NIV

We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people— the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel… Colossians 1:3-5 NIV.

During these wonderful days of Christmas, celebrating the human birth of the eternal Word of God Jesus Christ, we should not forget about the Joy of the Father and of the multitudes of angels that sing every moment that someone has been rescued from darkness and brought into the kingdom of the Son. The heavens continue to burst forth in non-stop, joyous celebration as, one-by-one, they are born into His Kingdom. It is a blessing to spread the gospel in difficult places bringing glory to the death, burial, and resurrection of His Son Jesus.

Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in Me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in Me, who is doing his work. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. John 14:9-11 NIV

Thank you, Jesus!

Just some of the presents being wrapped for children in the communities where we minister. These gifts are provided for by faithful donors in the Embrace-a-Child program as well as from special children’s offerings received:

Where there is no Godly family structure the church is inviting all people to become God’s Eternal Family. These children in Varzea Paulista are being sponsored by your love gifts.

I in them and You in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that You sent Me and have loved them even as you have loved Me. John 17:23 NIV

We are truly thankful to Siloah Fellowship International from Switzerland for their faithful and generous offerings for humanitarian relief! With these funds we are able to provide milk, food, and hot meals, and more to many people throughout the year who can barely keep food on the table.

God blessed us with a covering for our Varzea Paulista church plant . We are currently closing all side of the property with fencing  and some concrete blocks. Local men are helping Robson clear the land and helping out with some of the maintenance.

Praise the Lord we have taken all machinery and tools from our Jarinu Church Area to the vocational building!

You can see a lot of progress on the second floor of the Student/Vocational building since we moved the machinery from the church to ground floor.

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. John 14:12 NIV
