Today was really good with the senior citizens. We played with them and they were super involved and loved the games we played with them. They were amazingly grateful for us going there and reminded us not to forget them. They hadn’t had a mission team in a really long time so, they really enjoyed us going there. They played bingo, ballon volleyball, made bracelets and played cards. In conclusion they really enjoyed their day and we enjoyed making them happy. 🙂

Today we were introduced to the malnourished and recovering children at the center. We started off by going outside and playing with them. We played with them throughout the day and put them to bed. We were able to be introduced to what it is like for them to live at the center. Overall, it was a great experience.

The day started with eating an amazing egg casserole made by Rosemary and Mrs. Camacho, then the groups split up. The construction group started off by driving to the house and unloading the materials for the bathroom we were building. Then we started working with the architect, Saul, to construct the bathrooms. Next, we went to the second site and started work on the bathroom and the owner of the house, Francisco, helped us. All in all, I’m grateful for the opportunity to help these wonderful families of Guatemala and humbled by the attitudes of the families.
