Good Morning,

Yesterday (day 3) we visited the wonderful mountain of Mozarate and the view was magnificent! We went inside the sanctuary and hundreds of people stood and were glorifying the Lord. We then went up the mountain where all the students used their pesos to purchase all kinds of souvenirs and clothing.

After leaving the mountain we then went all the way across Bogota to visit Loncho’s parents house where lunch was waiting for us. There, everybody, including Alfredo, played a soccer game in the rain and we all had a blast. You can’t be in Colombia and not play a game of soccer!

The bus then came to pick us up and we drove the long 2-hour drive to the new hotel that we would be staying at but although it was a long drive the students stayed optimistic and full of energy, singing songs the whole way there.

When we arrived at the hotel we went into team devotionals and a breakdown of what we are going to be doing today at the school where we will be spreading God’s love through 4 different activities. The students then all took showers and immediately fell asleep after the long day.  We are excited for our first day at the school. Keep praying for us!
