Today was service day 3 and it was another beautiful day. We were awoken with a wonderful breakfast made Margarita and Maria. Our morning was occupied with doing VBS, where we spent about three hours with the kids doing crafts and games. It was our first day of manual labor and we moved 56 HEAVY concrete blocks that will later be a wall that will expand the size of Club Esperanza. We got back home all covered in dust and decided to cool off by all jumping in the pool and playing a lot of fun games for almost 2 hours. We packed bags of food that we will be distributing to families with special needs kids on Wednesday. We ended our night with a devotional led by Mike Pileggi talking about forgiveness and went on to hang out together as a team. In closure, please pray for us all tomorrow on our trip to Ruby Ranch with the kids.
P.S. Yesterday we forgot to mention that our prayers were answered after the power and water at the property began working again. Also, one of the Farrington’s dogs, Luna, gave birth to three beautiful(and tiny!) puppies.
Goodnight from Team Nica!
