A New School Year Begins!!!

Christ-Journey-Church-IMG 5814 — The 2019 school year started strong! About 90 students moved back to campus a week early to help connect with the 7,800 incoming freshmen! We “chalked” our logo all over campus.

Christ-Journey-Church-IMG 5881.HEIC — We had a table at the Boiler Bridge Bash where we connected with over 500 freshman! We handed out discount cards in exchange for them filling out a survey. We used those surveys to follow up with them and have spiritual conversations.

Christ-Journey-Church-IMG 5844 — Purdue Cru hosted a freshman mixer where we handed out Icees and talked about the vision and mission of Cru! The upperclassmen loved planning icebreaker games and getting to know the new students!

Christ-Journey-Church-IMG 5870 — We had over 200 students attend our first weekly meeting of the semester. Ethan, a fellow staff person, spoke on how to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.
