“Therefore as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion. kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.” Colossians 3:12
We are in Nicaragua! We are writing to you after just finishing with our devotional time. God met with us on an open aired 3rd floor rooftop where we worshipped Him through song and prayer. Just as our verse for this trip states, we believe we were “chosen” to be here. Not for our purposes or because we are special…but because He is good and He has plans that include us here in Nicaragua.
Some highlights from Day # 1:
Playing cards at MIA.
Being greeted at the airport in Managua by the entire Farrington family…nothing better!
Riding in the school bus and seeing all the names of family and friends who have been here before us.
Exploring the grounds, swimming in the pool, and taking siestas in the hammocks!
Onions at our devotional time (make sure to ask one of us about this)!
Tomorrow we will attend church in the morning and then have our first day of VBS with the kids! We can’t wait to meet and play with our new friends here in Nicaragua. It’s midnight there and it’s been a long travel day here, so we will say goodnight now. Stay tuned for day 2 updates as we can’t wait to share what God has in store.
