As Christ Journey steps into 2026, this year is being named a year of God’s favor—a year of promise, perseverance, and reward. Scripture reminds us not to throw away our confidence, because persevering faith is met with God’s faithfulness (Hebrews 10:35–36). What began in obedience nearly 100 years ago continues today through people who listen and respond to God’s voice.
Listening matters. Hearing God is not difficult—listening is a matter of desire. And in a world filled with noise, distraction, and what culture now calls a “loneliness doom loop,” the church is called to be a counter-culture of connection, hope, and belonging.
Christ Journey exists for such a time as this—to lift a standard of hope, community, and courage. Like David facing Goliath, God’s people are invited to listen to Him rather than be intimidated by the size of the challenge. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He gives both the faith to persevere and the wisdom to act.
As the church moves into a new season with two campuses, the vision remains clear:
– Single focus with double vision — helping more people find and follow Jesus
– Innovation guided by faith and love — using new tools while keeping relationships at the center
– A healthy, life-giving culture — emotionally, spiritually, and relationally strong
The cure for loneliness is not isolation, but the Kingdom of God lived out together. Christ Journey is not a club—it is a family. A place to be seen, known, belong, and become. This is the year to listen closely, lean in together, and step forward in faith.
Welcome to the year of God’s favor.
